Sets and Props Fabricator

 

Contract Hire

 

Capernaum Studios is seeking an experienced artistic, creative, and resourceful person to work on a contract

basis at the studio location.  This person will collaborate with Capernaum Staff to fabricate sets, props and scenic components for live shows, events, and TV/film productions.

​

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Fabricate and assemble various scenic components constructed from a variety of materials

  • Finish sculpts, create molds, and cast materials to obtain final parts for use in scenic/props

  • Utilize artistic experience working with various materials such as wood, metals, foam, fiberglass, and plastics to complete creative builds

  • Ability to work with basic hand and power tools

  • Ability to read assembly and construction drawings

  • Maintain equipment, supplies and cleanliness of workstation and area.

  • Willingness to learn, train and grow based on project requirements

  • Positive, hardworking, and detail oriented

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to work flexible hours

  • Ability to problem solve

 

Skills a plus, but not required:

  • Carpentry Experience

  • Sculpting/Molding

  • Painting (Hand and/or Airbrush)

  • Fiberglass fabrication

  • Welding

Maintenance Assistant Position


Part Time Position

Candidate must live or be willing to relocate near Weatherford, TX area.

​

Duties would include, but are not limited to:

​

  • General maintenance and handyman duties

  • Lite admin/office duties

  • Working knowledge of facilities/contracts

  • Lite construction work

  • Time management

  • Perform errands/pick up supplies

  • Scheduling and research

  • Supervise volunteers working property and facilities related projects

  • And any other duties that are needed

  • Maintain equipment, supplies and cleanliness of workstation and area

  • Willingness to learn, train and grow based on project requirements

  • Positive, hardworking, and detail oriented

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Ability to work flexible hours

  • Ability to problem solve

 

Pay is dependent on skills and experience.
