Casting Call: Live Immersive Shows (Spring 2026 Events)

• Location: Capernaum Studios in NW Parker County, Texas
• Rehearsal Dates: Sunday afternoons February 22nd through mid-March.
• Performance Dates: March 20-21, March 27-28, April 3-4, 2026

* Local Availability Requirement:

Due to the rehearsal schedule and production needs, preference will be given to performers who are already local to the area.

Out of town and out of state applicants may be considered only if they already have reliable local accommodations (friends, family, or self arranged housing) for the full rehearsal and performance period.

Please note:

• Performers must be able to attend all rehearsals and performances in person.

• Production is not responsible for lodging, transportation, or relocation costs.

• Being “willing to travel” is not sufficient without confirmed local accommodations.

Synopsis
The powerful performances of our Spring Shows pull our guests back in time,
immersing them as witnesses to events such as:
1. Jesus raising Lazarus back to life
2. The Resurrection of Jesus
3. Meeting Jesus on the road to Emmaus.

Paid Roles/Specs:
*Please note that a Hebrew accent is required for all speaking roles.

JESUS: (Casting up to 3 actors per event) - Male (early 30s), olive or dark complexion,
beard, medium to shoulder length hair, calm, authoritative, deeply compassionate.

EZEKIAS: Male (30-60), olive or med to dark complexion, beard; formerly the blind
man, warm, humorous, earnest

LAZARUS: Male (mid-30s to early 40s), olive or med to dark complexion, beard, well-
known and loved in the village. Gentle, faithful, and warm.

MARTHA: Female (late 30s to early 40s), Sister of Lazarus and Mary, olive or med to
dark complexion, practical, outspoken, strong-willed. Grief-stricken yet grounded in
faith.

MARY: Female (early to mid-30s), Sister of Lazarus and Martha, olive or med to dark
complexion, tender, emotional, deeply expressive. Her grief is raw and visible.

CLEOPAS: Male, (25-60s), Follower of Jesus who was traveling with a companion on
the road to Emmaus, olive or med to dark complexion, beard.

ZACHARIAH: Male (20-50s), Traveling companion of Cleopas, a follower of Jesus,
olive or med to dark complexion, beard.

MARY MAGDALENE: Female (early to mid-30s), Devoted follower of Jesus, olive or
med to dark complexion, generous and compassionate.

BACKGROUND: Various genders and ages. Men must be bearded; olive or dark
complexion is desired.
